About Omaha??

So, I've been living with K in Omaha for almost 2 years, and has she EVER taken me about town? Has she ever gone to the sights with me? Nope, not once!! So, I need some people to bug her about GETTING ME OUT OF THE HOUSE!! It's about smegging time!!

Remember to Drink Lots Of Water kids...

Utah has been a lot of fun so far. The flight was great - nothing too exciting. K was bored much of it and I stayed in a bag sound asleep.

We got into the airport at about 11:30 scrambled to get our rental car and meet up with K's friend Em. We crashed hard core that night - traveling really takes it out of a person.

Saturday, we took a trip to Park City. We got to see a lot of where they had the 2002 Winter Olympics. That was pretty nifty.

This morning the girls got up at 4:30 to head to Moab, Utah home of Arches National Park. (They are CRAZY!!!!) Arches was totally worth the drive. K was giddy trying to figure out the mineral components of the rocks (there was this greenish rock that K pondered over for a while - then had an AH HA! moment and called it copper oxide... )

We went as a group to the town of Moab during the heat of the day and drank lots of water the girls took a siesta to rest up. I don't blame them... 4:30 am *shiesh*! We are headed back to Arches here soon for some more hiking and hopefully some sunset pictures.

Tomorrow is off to Canyonlands for some more outdoor fun. K and I are not used to this dry heat and high elevation sun. We're hoping the SPF 30 that we've got on keeps us from being lobsters. So far so good...

It's About Time!!

Woohoo! I am of on an exciting adventure to Salt Lake City today!! I'm going for my first airplane ride - K says I'll be just fine. (I trust her, she's been out of the country twice.) Lots of pictures and fun I promise!!

Oshkosh B'gosh!!!

Wow!! Did we ever have a great time in Oshkosh at EAA AirVenture! I got to talk to all sorts of nice people about their airplanes, and about airplanes they like and ... just WOW!!! The great thing is Ford sponsored a concert by Foreigner!!!! We has a great time... but rather than gibbering on the proof is in the photos!! Helldivers, DC-3s, P-51s, and much more!!

So there hasn't been a lot going on here. K is moving to Omaha soon, that's about all the vacation I am going to get for a while. Mom and Dad are going to Argentina this winter to go fishing... there's talk that I'll get to go along!! But that's not until January!!

Back and BUSY!!

Hey everyone! I'm so sorry that I took so long to update! The family and I got home and life got busy, we're still your average American family. But Wyoming was a blast, and fun was had by all.

We spent a day in Yellowstone. K was excited, we were reminded that we were treading on one of the biggest volcanoes in the world. We had fun exploring on our very brief visit to Yellowstone, we hope to spend more time there in the future.





We made it back safe and sound. I think the family is glad to be home. Until next time.
